Navigating the Secure Jobs, Better Pay Reforms: A CPD Session with Joseph Kennedy

When: 16 February 2023, 6pm-7:30pm

Where: RTBU Sydney, Level 4/321 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000

Sweeping changes are happening in the industrial space. With the passage of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022, a number of significant reforms will be phased into the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) in 2023. These changes are far-reaching and affect enterprise bargaining, zombie agreements, pay secrecy, sexual harassment, and fixed term contracts, among other things.

NSW Labor Lawyers have organised a CPD session with Joseph Kennedy, Principal at specialist employment firm Hall Payne, who regularly advises unions on the reforms. Mr Kennedy will seek to digest the major changes coming this year with a particular focus on enterprise bargaining.
