Calling all law students and young lawyers!

Labor Early and Aspiring Practitioners (LEAP) is a network of progressive law students and newly graduated legal professionals, connecting those at the beginning of their law career to like-minded lawyers and legal professionals.

Join us for a casual pub networking event at The Rose in Erskineville on the 10th of August, 2026, to make connections with experienced legal professionals, discuss politics and meet like-minded early and aspiring lawyers. A bar tab will be provided.

We will be joined by a special guest, The Hon. Dr. Sarah Kaine, BEc, PhD, MLC and Chair of the NSW Parliament Standing Committee on Social Issues.

Law students and graduates with under 5 years of post-admission experience are strongly encouraged to attend.

LEAP is an initiative by the NSW Society of Labor Lawyers. You do not need to be a member of the Labor Party, NSW Society of Labor Lawyers, or LEAP to attend this event.
