The 2026 Jeff Shaw Memorial Lecture, a joint event of the NSW Society of Labor Lawyers, Unions NSW and Maurice Blackburn, will be delivered by the Hon. Sophie Cotsis MP, Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Work Health and Safety. 

The Jeff Shaw Memorial Lecture is held in recognition of the work and life of the Hon. Jeff Shaw QC who was the NSW Attorney General and Minister for Industrial Relations (1995-2000) and a judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, who worked tirelessly in defence of workers and their rights, a safe workplace and freedom from discrimination.
