From Secure Jobs, Better Pay to Closing Loopholes: A recap of industrial changes in Labor's first term

Since its election in 2022, the Albanese Labor Government has implemented ambitious and wide-ranging industrial relations reforms. Through various tranches of legislation, the Albanese Labor Government has revived collective bargaining, improved wages, particularly in low-paid feminised sectors such as aged care, health care and childcare, and closed the labour hire loophole.
