In recent weeks the national conversation has focused intensely on the denial of citizenship as a counter-terrorism strategy.

Parliament is now enjoying a winter recess, while the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security conducts its review of the Citizenship Amendment (Allegiance to Australia) Bill 2015.
