The NSW Society of Labor Lawyers invites you to a panel of experienced speakers on the topic of financial services reform. Since the Global Financial Crisis, financial service providers, in particular the major banks, have come under intense scrutiny following a series of scandals in the financial advice and insurance industries.

Our expert panel will be answering a complex question: how do we reform the industry to ensure that consumers are protected while also allowing these institutions the freedom to compete and make their own market choices?

Joining our panel will be Chris Bowen MP - Shadow Treasurer of Australia; Alex Kelly - Principal Solicitor at the Financial Rights Legal Centre; and Erin Turner - Head of Policies and Campaigns at CHOICE.
